Directors

  • Be practising Muslims
  • Determining the Companies strategic and policy objectives
  • Understand the importance of the responsibility of Halal slaughter
  • Accounting for the Companies activities to the relevant parties

Operational Managers

  • Be practising Muslims
  • Understand the importance of the responsibility of Halal slaughter and be conversant with the rules thereof
  • Excellent Organisational and Management Skills
  • Honest, trustworthy and of good character (polite, respectful and friendly).
  • Financial acumen
  • Line Management responsibilities

Supervisors & Inspectors

  • Be Practising Muslims
  • Understand the importance of the responsibility of Halal slaughter and be conversant with the rules thereof
  • Honest, trustworthy and of good character (polite, respectful and friendly)
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Have own transport and be willing to travel

Staff Training

HMB staff undergo an intensive 4 week training course to expand their food safety training and work alongside Senior Inspectors for a period of 3 months before being approved for Site Visit where machinery and tools are used.
